BC’s redesigned curriculum is changed how we connect students with the skills they need to succeed. That makes assessing student progress, and the quality and effectiveness of the education system, even more important.

When it comes to assessing student successes and growth, the Ministry of Education and Child Care has also introduced new reporting policies, including a new proficiency scale for students in kindergarten to grade 9.
