As such their access to the curriculum, personalization, mental health supports, cultural safety and representation, and positive behaviour supports all contribute to their opportunities for learning and ultimately their achievements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22079 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/newwestschools.ca\/archive_241212\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2-Collaboration.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"226\" \/>Collaboration and Teamwork<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>includes such areas as teamwork, collaboration, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, follow-through on recommendations, roles of team members and the documentation of team meetings. Authentic team means that families and students are essential and respected members.
