POPARD\u2019s mandate is determined by the Ministry of Education for the province of British Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>The POPARD team collaborates with educators who request support for students with ASD. Our collaborative approach promotes meaningful consultation with parents and community teams. The program builds capacity in schools by providing training and ongoing distance mentoring support to district partners, teachers, therapists, itinerants and educational assistants.
