A planned three-day, system-wide Metro Vancouver bus and SeaBus shutdown has been averted after a tentative settlement was reached for thousands of transit workers early this morning, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"> Please be advised that transit service is in place. \u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-CA\">All transit employees will report to work for their normal shifts today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>News reports indicate a negotiated agreement was reached at 12:30 a.m. this morning, between the Coast Mountain Bus Company and Unifor Locals representing bus and SeaBus operators and maintenance staff in Metro Vancouver.<\/p>\n<pre>See related news items here:  <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/6221690\/last-minute-transit-deal-metro-vancouver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Global News<\/a>\u00a0|  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/transit-strike-deal-unifor-translink-1.5373554\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBC News<\/a><\/pre>\n<h3>A &#8216;fair and reasonable&#8217;
