Elementary card contest: supporting Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation
We’re so excited to be partnering with Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation this year to help design their holiday card, through an elementary school, district-wide drawing contest!
This contest is open to students at any New Westminster Schools elementary school (or K-5 learners in the Home Learning Program). Using the below template, students can submit their best interpretations of the theme: “Celebrate the Holiday Season!”
The winning image will appear on this year’s Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation Holiday Cards, with the winner’s name published on social media alongside their winning entry! Holiday cards will be available for sale at 3 Save-On-Foods locations around New Westminster.
All entries must be collected by classroom teachers by end of day on November 1st (for classrooms who are participating), or students who create their submissions at home can turn their entries into the school office.
Entries will be collected from each school on November 2, 2023, with the winning entry selected on November 3rd. The three judges for this year’s contest will be:
- Jeffrey Norris, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation CEO
- Phil Miscio, Save-On-Food Manager
- Patrick Johnstone, Mayor-elect of New Westminster!
