Ministry of Health: School Food Guidelines survey
The Ministry of Health is reviewing and proposing updates to the School Food Guidelines that set the standards for foods that are sold, served or provided through school meal programs, cafeterias, vending machines, fundraisers and more. They are asking for feedback from all members of the school community, across BC.
In order to respond to the survey:
- Participants will first need to review the new Proposed 2022 Updated School Food Guidelines.
- The Ministry of Health has also provided a Discussion Paper for Education Sector Stakeholders that may helpful for those looking to understand more about the rationale used in developing the proposed revisions.
- And finally, anyone who as thoughts on the proposal is invited to engage through the BC School Food Guidelines Feedback Survey.
This survey will take in the range of 5-10 minutes to complete, and will be open until April 30th, 2022.
