Every summer and throughout the year a team of school district facilities, maintenance, and operations staff quietly make things happen. Roofs are repaired, floors installed, and portables are renovated, moved and repaired. Fences are built and basketball hoops magically appear when needed.... more

Grade seven students Gursimrit Badyal and Miranda Baron opened their hearts to the stories they learned in school of young First Nations children like Seepeetza -- who at six years old was taken from her family and sent to an Indian Residential School. Opening New Doors to Learning at Fraser River Middle School
When students arrived for their first day at the brand new Fraser River Middle School this month, they were welcomed to more than new walls and gleaming hallways.
