Monday, September 2 – Labour Day (Statutory Holiday). School closed
Tuesday, September 3 – School Opening
September 4, 5, 6 – Intake and Student/Teacher Meetings. Students choose classes & SP courses
Monday, September 9 – Term One Begins, Scheduled classes start
Thursday, September 19 – Orange Shirt Day Presentation by Phillis Webstad. See related letter.
Monday, September 23 – Non-instructional Day, School closed for students
Monday, September 30 – Student Body Meeting, Go Cards, Pictures, Lunch provided
Monday, October 14 – Thanksgiving Day (Statutory Holiday) School closed
Wednesday, October 23 – Early Dismissal at 2:30pm, Parent Teacher Evening 4 – 7 pm
Friday, October 25 – Provincial Pro D Day, School closed for students
Monday, November 11 – Remembrance Day (Statutory Holiday) School closed
Tuesday, November 12 – Non-instructional Day, School closed for students
Wednesday, December 18 – POWER Holiday Luncheon (Turkey Lunch for Students and Staff)
Friday, December 20 – End of Term One, Last day of term one classes
December 23, 2019 – January 3, 2020 Winter Vacation (School closed)
Monday, January 6, 2020 – Schools reopen, Term Two Begins, Scheduled classes start
Information for Graduating Students:
- The Ministry of Education, Student Transcript Service, provides access to marks, transcripts, scholarships and allows transcripts to be sent directly to post-secondary institutions and employers. Click here for more information.

Past students can pick up a transcript at the POWER office in person Monday – Friday between the hours of 1 pm and 4 pm. There is an initial charge of $2 for the first transcript and an additional charge of $1 per copy.
