Playgrounds and outdoor spaces open

Great news for New West families today: the playgrounds are open! As are all the other outdoor spaces at our district’s schools.

When using our playgrounds and outdoor play spaces, please remember the following things:

• Maintain proper physical distance from people not in your circle (6 feet or 2 metres)
• Wash your hands with soap and water often, for 20 seconds
• When soap and water is not available, hand sanitizer is a good secondary alternate
• Use proper respiratory etiquette if you need to cough or sneeze (into your sleeve/elbow)
• No gathering in large groups
• Stay home if you’re sick
