Programs & Services - District Libraries - Overview - ERAC Databases
Databases are groups of online digital resources put together for a specific purpose. For example, World Book Online, the digital version of the World Book encyclopedias, contains articles, videos and images as well as special functions such as translations or text-to-speech. Databases are a great place to start research-based homework projects with your children. ERAC (Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium) provides these databases to the New Westminster School District (see the BC Digital Classroom here) and has issued log-in information for student use at home. If you do not have this information, please email your child’s teacher or the district teacher-librarian, Kristie Oxley, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
