The walkway to the portables from the main building will be hard road base <\/u><\/strong>rather than pavement for the remainder of this school year. The work around the playground requires the pavement to be removed for the remainder of the school year as they have work to complete on the drainage system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the next 3 weeks we will have no access for after school play on the kindergarten<\/u> playground. The construction team needs to move materials during the day, so we are limiting access to the kindergarten playground (access only at recess and lunch). Please use the intermediate playground and City Park for after school play.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drop off and pick up routines remain the same for Grade 2 students.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each grade group is encouraged to wear their colour for the day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math Festival \u2013 April 16<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 <\/strong>All day event in our gym (all students will participate at various points throughout the day with their class)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are excited to welcome the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival<\/strong> (jrmf.org<\/a>). It is a math education nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower schools and communities to create magical math moments for children. They have created a variety of engaging math activities that help children of all ages develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Their ultimate goal is to have children leave feeling joyful and confident about math.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
