Welcome Back to School
Welcome back for the 2025-2026 school year!
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 2nd. On this first day of school, grades 1 – 5 students will attend from 8:50am – 9:55am. The gates will open at 8:40am. Please note that returning students are to line up outside their classroom from last year where their teacher will greet them, take attendance, and review some of the details for the week ahead. For our NEW students, please come to the Office once you arrive, and a staff member will walk you to your classroom.
For our Kindergarten students, they will be starting on a gradual entry schedule during the first week. We ask that our Kindergarten families please refer to the Welcome Letter that was sent home on Tuesday, August 27th for specific details.
If you know that your child will not be at school on the first day, please email or call the Office to notify us. It is important for us to have a clear understanding of which children will be returning to Connaught Heights Elementary in September, and which children are moving on to different schools.
On Wednesday, September 3rd, students in grades 1 – 5 will attend their first full day of school (8:50am – 3:00pm). Please pack a water bottle, a snack, and a lunch for the day. Like the previous day, students will line up outside their classroom from last year and attendance will be taken. At this time, students will be transitioned into their new classrooms throughout the day.
