Students are usually expected to go outside during their lunch break, regardless of the weather. Families should ensure students have appropriate clothing and footwear in their locker to stay comfortable.
School administrators watch the weather and may decide to have an inside lunch if severe wind, rain, or snow is expected.
On the rare occasion the school needs to close, the decision will usually be announced by 6:30 a.m. or shortly after.
