Amazing Things Happening in The FRMS Library
Talent Tuesday Holiday Caroling with the FRMS Choir
Thank you to the FRMS Choir for serenading the school during Open Lunch on Talent Tuesday! The staff and students appreciated the holiday sing alongs and vibes. Thank you to Ms. Dowdell and Mr. Silverman for their contributions and organizing. If you’d like to perform during Open Lunch, please see Mr. Hebb.

Cookies for Kindness
We collaborated with Ms. Zimmerman in the Home Ec room to bake cookies and paired them with kind messages and notes from FRMS students. These were packaged for various shelters in our community. This initiative was brought to us from Mr. Musgrove (Resource Teacher) and some of his organizations and contacts in the community. Thank you to everyone for creating cards and inspirational messages in the Learning Commons during your Library blocks. Mr. Musgrove worked very hard behind the scenes to organize the packages and deliver them. The shelters were blown away by the kindness, the care, and thought behind the packages. Your words do matter, and your messages were greatly appreciated. So thank you for writing them with thought and care.

Flute Ensemble Morning Performance
Ms. Kliefoth from Tweedsmuir Elementary and the Flute Ensemble (made up of students from FRMS and NWSS) performed for staff and students during the morning entrance and chat time. It was a beautiful way to begin our day! Students were very happy and enjoyed the performance as they made they into the building. Thank you to the Flute Ensemble, Ms. Kliefoth, and Mr. Silverman for brightening our day.

Gift of Words Tree
During Book Exchange times the students listened to the story “The Gift of Words” by Peter H. Reynolds. They created their own kind words and messages and added them to our “Word Tree” in the Learning Commons. Please feel free to come and visit, read, and add your own gift of words to the tree. It is honestly very uplifting and wholesome to read through the messages! Thank you to the FRMS community!
