Bikes and Scooters
We are very happy to see many students riding bikes and scooters to school. However, we also would like families to make sure that we take care to be safe while on school property and sidewalks around the school.
Students and parents are expected to dismount off all bikes and scooters once on school property. Pedestrian-Only Zones – All Queen Elizabeth school grounds, including parking lots, fields, play areas, drop-off lanes, walkways, and indoor locations, are designated “Dismount Zones”.
It is being encouraged that all individuals bringing an e-bike or e-scooter to district property meet all legal requirements for that device – minimum operator age and helmet requirements. Please review the City of New Westminster guidelines for e-mobility.
