The Skwo:wech Parent Advisory Council (PAC) works closely with staff and the district to support our school community. All parents and guardians of Skwo:wech students are part of the PAC and are encouraged to participate whenever (and however) they can.
PAC meetings are typically held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. (alternating between in-person and virtual). Babysitting is available during our in-person meetings. All parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend to hear updates from our principal, school trustee, and teachers.
The Skwo:wech PAC:
- Fundraises for field trips, classroom expenses, library books, new technology, and much more
- Organizes events to create a fun and supportive community
- Communicates with school admin regularly to provide a parent perspective
- Volunteers to support school activities and programs
- Advocates for students and families at school and district levels
Get involved
The PAC is always looking for volunteers to help with fun lunches, bake sales, and other events. Volunteering with the PAC:
