School learning plan
Queensborough Middle School promotes a growth mindset where everyone believes they can improve through effort, strategies, and perseverance.
For 2025–2026, our School Learning Plan (SLP) will center on the foundational building blocks of literacy and numeracy. These two themes are fundamental to the learning and instruction that takes place in our school and across our district.
We will strengthen instructional practices in literacy and numeracy to improve the competence and confidence of our learners. By doing so, we aim to make literacy and numeracy more visible, accessible and relevant for our learners, thus enhancing the student experience.

The Welcome and Wellness Centre
The Welcome and Wellness Centre is located at New Westminster Secondary School’s south-side entrance and serves New Westminster’s students and parents, especially those who are new to the city and/or to Canada.
