  • Registration for K-5 Summer Learning 2025 is now open and closes on Friday, April 18 at 4 p.m.
  • Please note attendance requirements before registering.
  • Also please note that at this time most courses have filled and have waiting lists.

Courses are intended for students who are currently enrolled in K-5 in the New Westminster school district or enrolled to start grade one or higher in September. Unless otherwise noted, grade levels listed in the course catalogue reference the grade the student will enter in the new school year.

Please note these classes are approved by the Ministry of Education and Child Care and are not day camps. Student supervision outside of the 9 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. period is not provided and students must be dropped off and picked up on time.

Please also note summer learning courses have an attendance requirement. Students who miss two (2) or more days will be withdrawn from the program.

Classes run, in-person, at Qayqayt Elementary School on the following days for the 2025 summer period:

  • Monday to Friday from July 2 to July 18 from 9 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
