Students are always encouraged to approach school staff to report incidents and anti-social behaviour.
Reporting bullying and harassment
- Speak with a trusted adult (e.g. teacher, counsellor, youth worker), who can help students being bullied figure out the next steps they should take.
- Speak directly with the school vice principal or principal to share concerns/worries or to share information about the circumstances.
- If school staff are not able to help (e.g. because the behaviour/incident happened after school hours of off school grounds), file a report through ERASE to alert the district’s safe schools coordinator, who will follow up on the situation.
