Anti-South Asian racism refers to historical and ongoing discrimination, stereotypes, and injustices experienced by people of South Asian heritage, often based on assumptions about ethnicity or nationality.
These biases occur at both individual and systemic levels, leading to social, economic, political, and cultural marginalization
To address this, we must recognize how anti-South Asian racism appears in language, resources, and spaces and actively work to dismantle it. At the same time, we should celebrate South Asian cultures, stories, and lived experiences as part of building inclusive communities.
