SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) resources help create safe, inclusive schools where all students can thrive.

SOGI 123 is not a curriculum. It’s a framework that includes lessons, policies, and practices to ensure students’ gender and sexual identities never limit their opportunities. Representation matters and these resources allow 2SLGBTQIA+ students to see themselves reflected in their learning and school community.

Lessons are age-appropriate, from simple concepts in early grades (e.g., “colours have no gender”) to more complex discussions about gender identity in later years. Sometimes inclusion is as simple as a story featuring two moms.

We encourage families to learn alongside their children as we work together to build a caring, accepting community for everyone.
