The Home Learners Program (HLP) provides options for families who prefer to have their children educated at home. Parents partner with teachers to develop learning plans that combine the B.C. curriculum into a home program, community activities and classes, and classes at the Hume Park Learning Centre.
- The program is open to kindergarten to grade eight students.
- Includes face-to-face learning, online workshops for students and parents, and thematic family projects.
- Programs offered include environment education, applied skills, music, art, drama, and more.
- New Home Learners Program students with sibling status have priority placement.
