New Westminster Schools’ Montessori programs begin in kindergarten and run through to grade five. The program is offered at Connaught Heights Elementary School and Skwo:wech Elementary School and enrollment is limited to one kindergarten entry class per school. Catchment areas are in effect for the program.
Montessori information night
Parents and guardians are invited to attend “Discover New Westminster Schools” night every year where staff hold open houses to provide information on district programs, such as the Montessori program.
Apply to join a Montessori program
Every January, students may apply to join a Montessori program in the next school year (i.e. in September).
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year open at 9 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2025, and closes at 4 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025.
