What happens if a school is full?

  • Schools that are at maximum capacity will not accept out-of-catchment applications or transfers, except for siblings who already attend an out-of-catchment school.
  • Placements at high-demand schools are determined through a lottery draw (with priority given to siblings).
  • Students who cannot get into their catchment school are placed in the next available school. In addition, they will be added to their catchment school wait list and are free to move if spots become available.

Programs of Choice

Please note students must already be registered with the district before they can apply for a Program of Choice.
