Before Your Bedtime Info Sessions for Pre-K Families
New Westminster Schools cordially invites families whose children are starting Kindergarten in September 2026 to join us for an informative, three-part series on how to prepare little ones for their first day of school.
“Before Your Bedtime” will feature district staff and guests speakers who will share their expertise and offer helpful tips for getting your child ready for Kindergarten.
As these sessions will not be recorded, we encourage families to join us virtually on Microsoft Teams on the following dates from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.:
- February 9, 2026 – Social-Emotional Learning: Sleep, Nutrition, Everyday Anxiety and Physical Literacy.
- March 9, 2026 – Foundations of learning: Play, Early Learning Framework and the First Peoples Principles of Learning.
- April 9, 2026 – Literacy and Numeracy: Play based practical tools and strategies.
