Playground closures effective immediately

Effective immediately: New Westminster Schools has temporarily closed all playgrounds and play sites (fields, hockey boxes, basketball courts) at our schools.

This is part of our collective efforts to be partners in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

If you’re out and about in the world right now, we remind people to not gather in groups of 50 or more, to continue to practice good social distancing (a minimum of 2 meters between people), stay home when possible and to follow the recommendation of the Provincial Health Officer to only engage closely with people in your immediate household.
